Mavricks in Burnaby is da shit.... BEACH WEDNESDAY :PartEkid: and every satarday is Killer, women are fine and a mixture of all types of music... and all types of people...!!!! WOOT!!! (beach Wednesday had topless servers and watermelon eating contests)

esp. on tuesdays, when I know lots of the jerks who frequent that night. I can just walk up to the bar, and the bartender knows to shake a bottle of bombay in my face and is one of the few that knows how to make my drink right. I also adore the bouncer Marc, because he's a mouthy frenchman who used to drum for sass jordan and always remembers me, even if my visits are months and months apart. I like how it's just dark enough there so that everybody looks pretty. The sound is also pretty agreeable.. f. i haven't been there in months, I should go again.

^the bartenders rock! i love how friendly/cool the staff is.
let's just say on my b-day i 'misplaced' my retainer...and the staff found it, and i got my very own 'scott's retainer bag' from the wonderful peeps at lotus. my fav bouncer was Ian but he no longer works there. we used to get in like 5 people for a $10 sack. :P
