Im not really for the hip hop.. but if you want some tribal techno or dnb let me know. (i think im ok.. im not some beatboxing champ of the world. I just did a beatbox session in the bathroom at work while having the worst shits in the world)

That's what i'm about though. i don't give a fuck if your good or not, as long as you are willing to join in. i hate beatboxing for people who don't do it at all, because they're just like "whoa that's awesome", they don't have anything for you, you know what i mean? yea ask around an shit, i'm not strictly hip hop either. i;m a jungle nut as well.

i have the craziest beatbox story for you all!!!!
i was at a party.. some small mini near queen e park.. i can't remember the name of it.. but the feed from the decks died.. i think a fuse blew.. and only the mic worked.. everyone started boo'ing... the guys that threw the party (my friends from j.o.) got all pissed and tried to fix it.. so while it was dead.. and people we're getting pissed.. i beatbox'd some hard trance.. (similar to atb- underwaterworld or PPK - ressurection) so i was going for like 5 min until the sound came back on.. it was so crazy... anyone remember that..??? from like spring 2000!?!

jordan....ure like a rave prophet...u can be saying "back in the day when i partied in 2000...__insert story here__" beat boxed hardtrance....:S, i can do some good breaks and switch it up with diff melodys and differnet pitched snares and shit i need a mic hooked up to the comp so i can rip shit up

i'm sure i'll have stories to tell of these days.. but i haven't been raving for a while.. all my stories are gonna start with... "back in 99" or "oh remember at sweet gets wicked..." ahhaha that only to you guys.. like compared to to omega_image.. i'm still a nub.. hahaha right adam?!?!

personally, i'm better acoustic than on a mic. but there are some things that can sound dope on a mic bthat you can't even pick up acoustic.

^yunno what's really fun?
setting up a delay box in loop mode (so the sound keeps looping instead of echoing away) then building beatloops from vocal sounds. I've gotten stuff going like that before that sounded just like real instruments.

all you need is a decent delay box, and possibly an adaptor if you got an XLR mic.
Most decent delay boxes can be set up to loop, just with the push of a button. Otherwise you just crank the feedback up to 100%, so it doesn't decay, and set the delay time to 2 seconds or so. The Line 6 delay modeller is a great pedal for that sorta stuff.
