Have you ever had your palm read?

My mother took me to see a fortune teller a while back and I have seen one myself.

I admit there are things that are a matter of interpretation but the psychic I saw was spewing out things that no one should have known about my past and she did predict things that did come true. The tarot card reading she did spooked me.

I believe in spirits so I do take the words they provide seriously.

That being said I also believe you do not get anything for free, so any information you may get about your future is balanced by the loss of something else... may it be love, luck, heath, whatever.

this girl I work with reads palms.... she read mine a while ago, all I remember is that i'm a very old spirit apparently and that in this lifetime I'll have two major loves.

Nothing is for free... it's all about give and take.

You gain insight about the future then you have to lose something in return... may it be luck (you get unlucky), love (can't find a g/f), health (are sick more often) or whatever is deemed fit.

Kinda. Although isn't palmistry or card reading or w/e suppose to make stuff more clearer? So I goto a hand reading, she tells me stuff then something gets taken away? So now what, go back for a second reading to find out what got took? Geesus, it'll never end!

I think it really depends on what sorts of things you are wanting to find out about your future, and why you are wanting to find out.

If its stuff that's just kinda ego food, or for self reassurance, then yeah, that's probably gonna attract some negative karma (not the FnK kind:) ) stuff like "Does so and so like me?" or "am I going to be rich soon?"

Whenever I talk to my spirit guides, I try to just ask them to show me stuff that will be useful, instead of trying to get confirmation for my hopes and dreams.

i would love to see a psychic or have my palms read or both,i beleive in stuff like that because im a mutant and i see things sometimes or know when things happen and stuff and junk or something. I've never had an actual professional read my palm, but I have by some amateurs. personally, I don't really think that palm readings are representative of your whole destiny, although I do believe they provide clues to your physical and mental health as well as predispositions and personality traits.

my father actually has a book on medical palmistry and it's got some really neat things... for example, the author claims that he can compare a couple's palm readings and predict whether or not they are likely to end in divorce or stay together by seeing whether or not their sexual desire lines were compatible.

a friend of mine read my palm... what she read was that I will have a long life... and that my childhood, I was "unconnected", whatever that means. my father has also read my palm and told me that I have a predisposition to having liver problems...

I had mine read by a lady I used to work with... some of it really spooked me but it was cool none the less . But I'll never forget this art dude I did a program with at school . He knew stuff outa know where that no one knows and that he couldn't possibly know about my past and other stuff too that i just cant even begin to explain here... i cant even put into words how real and weird it was. It was really creepy but it was soo interesting, it was like he was psychic but in a different way. In the presence of people he would get certain vibes and feelings and he'd know stuff about u. I wish I was special like that. It would be soo awesome. :keebler:

I'm a little bit scared of palm reading - When I was in my teens I took it up and read my boyfriends palm - I could see an early death for him, though I couldn't be positive cause I was still just learning , but there was a definate break in the life line- and months later he died

it freaked me right out -

that being said - i still read tarot, Zen tarot - which is more about immediate situation rather then future
