I Need Your Help!
I've got a project coming up
and I'm going to need a lot of help in a lot of different area's I would apreciate anyones help! and I'm willing to compensate If you can help me sell tickets for a party I have coming up in Feb called KISS or if anyone can flyer or if you have any other idea's to contrbute I want to make this years KISS YOUR party. DJ's and acts are important, and we'll get to that later but first we need to think of other aspects that us promoters may have been neglecting So I'd like to hear your idea's and your insight! And in the upcoming months maybe we could all ge ttogethor and brainstorm some idea's while we buy you dinner! I'll select 10 or 15 people who would like to be most active and have the best idea's! I'd really apreciate it! =)

If you haven't already, you guys should throw together a solid promo/street team: 5-10 lovely ladies and gents with promotional or sales experience. Deck them out in some sexy Kiss gear and send them off to every event, or busy club night, going on in this city from now until then.
And they have to do way more than flyer. Flyer whores can only do so much. These people have to get the crowd worked up. They should be fun, flirty, loud, and energetic. Heads should turn when they walk into a room. They can host bar-game contests for free tickets, give away free cd's of the headlining DJ's, slap Kiss stickers (with website info) on asses.. all that kind of stuff. The amount of free stuff you can give away all depends on your budget, right, but just having that team everywhere and making them recognizable is what counts. You should also get some huge teaser website action going. The Ghettoblaser promo video is an awesome idea.. expand on that! So many ideas....... lol I'll help in any way I can! definately activities would make the party more entertaining, like maybe some live acts in the chill room, i dont know if u can have fire dancers/spinners in plaza, but some sorta live dancing team like the electric boogaloos would bring alot of people or some sorta freak/side show type thing...maybe get someone on the bongos/drums in the breaks room to compliment a breaks/dnb dj, i hear akeel does that.. ummm and booths with activities would be great, like massages, or body/face painting, i can't think of anything else right now, i'll post later if i think of something

im taking marekting right now in skool...so im sure i could come up with some cool ideas. i'll keep you posted dave. too bad i live in vic, but i can still give you my input and promo here for ya.
p.s. i cant wait for the party in feb in seattle. gonna be good times ;-)

OK, here we go
MAJOR ISSUE, you have to appeal to the public who don't want to go, thats your basic flaw, and the hip hoppers/others who may not even know about raves in vancouver and surrounding. SO, you have to put an event on thats affordable to the public, not your company or the producers budget. There can't be age limits, get the youth back into it. People love lasers and not the small ones the big ones, it may cost you but its the memories that keep people going, i don't know about you but a stage with lasers is insane sometimes you can enjoy the stages lasers more than the music.....well not really but get my point Get Dancers makes it more appealing and fun/cool to look at dress them up or make them sexy that appeal to guy and girl Special effects, and not just lights though more are always needed, get explosions and such like maybe at 12:00 or a time where its just packed have a HUGE introduction on the main stage with the BIG DJ you have playing so that people are affected by it. So they actually go wow!!! i got some more idea's....see what people say first than i'll reply back if you want Thanks Mike

exactly, some people are turned off at the fact that, its a rave and what not, well why not combine it so that they can experience it both.make the first experience for hip hop crowds be one to remember but as a memory towards the rave scene so next time they tell there friends and convince them.
