actualy ive seen some girls wear them with capris for more of a funky look.
I wear mine with a 3/4 denim skirt, and I have slip on lofer style shoes with a tiny bit of a platform. It looks pretty good I think.

Depends on what kind of material/color/fit it is though. If they're not loose schoolgirl socks then you can wear them with boots and let them kind of sneak out at the top. I agree with the above(s) though, that you should definately flaunt it with a skirt.

i got black cotton ones, and 2 pair of nylon ones...one is navy blue and the other is black with thinned out areas making them fishnet like

i'll definitely wear them with skirts, i just need to find nice shoes to go with them...

Mary janes with a lowish heel, or otherwise flat shoes. I wear
mine with black mary janes, my black pumas (with a sportier
skirt), or little denim mary janes. Plus a skirt. Ew to shorts. Also,
the knee-high tube socks with the stripes at the top look hot peeking out of a pair of boots.

I love knee socks, I own a few too many pairs.
