I was just watching this news station, and they were saying that Christmas songs may become "Winter songs" isn't that the biggest load of crap??? And the "Holiday tree" in stead of Christmas tree. Isn't that screwing over the people who belive in Christmas? They don't change anything about Hannika(sorry about the spelling) or any other religion, so why are they screwing over most of the population?? It drives me crazy. Any other thoughts on this?

thats what u get when u live in canada.....everyone thinks that we have the same rights as the u.s. but they are sadly mistaken.....y do you think canadian talk radio is sooooooo boring....ull never hear shows like tom leikiss or howard stern up here.....becuz we don't have freedom of speech....

becuz canada is such a multi-cultural country.....everyone is afraid of offending someone else....or excluding someone...its a bunch of bullshit...we shouldn't have to conform to other peoples beliefs or what have you....when it comes to censorship and freedom of speech and expression i wish i lived in the states.....but u can't have everything.....

it could also be because canadians have taste...howard stern's syndicated radio show was played on canadian stations, but they stopped airing it because it wasnt getting the ratings not because anyone complained.

unfortunately tom leikiss show was cancelled by the CRTC for gender issues. not expliccit content, just his view on women. his show had huge ratings and was MOJO's biggest show/rating generater.

I think there was a censorship of speech in that case. As for Mr Stern, he's boring.
