new shift for work
so Im used to partyin, stayin out hella early....I would say late, but to be honest the party ussually doesn't stop until the morning hours...but anywayz...thats besides the point...I have been working part time and in the evenings for awhile because of school and some other things, but now that I am done school I have uber-free time to work full time...so I switched to full time, and I guess that starts this week...but the worst part of all...my shift is fuckin 5am-2pm...!! :finger: I don't even no where to begin, we'll see how this all works out :284:

Is your job shift-based...as in, your shifts change from time to time? Mine is...right now I'm 6AM-2:30PM, which suits me fine...but I've also been stuck with crappy shifts which are impossible to trade because no-one wants them...just gotta weather thru it and hope and pray that those are the weeks where no good partys or plans are made...

yeah...my work is shift based...right now I jus switched to full time so its a 5-2 flex..meaning I can start at 5-6 and end at 2-3...the good part is that no matter what shift you get...or days off, there is always a shift bid and change in a month or two...so its all good....plus...u can always try to trade with people...and then if those all don't work...you can always jus take a point or something if the party is worth it....but I have no problem comming to work, hung over, sketched or anything along those lines:p :keebler:

Been there, done that, got the ass-groove in my chair and drool on my keyboard to prove it...lol...
Almost got stuck with working on NYE until 12:30AM (as in, I would end work 30 minutes into the new year)...somehow managed to trade that bad boy away...woo-hoo...

thats terrible....why would they have such a bunk shift...like...12:30 lol......I think I may be working until 11 on new years...but thats all good...still time to blast out to Van...might be ringing in the new year in the p5 though :P...thas why I picked up VIP...I wouldn't wanna hafta work and then hafta head out there and be in line until like 2-3...so yeah..anywayz I gotta call so i gotta go

yeah...its not that I am complaining about working...I do enjoy my job...but I also do not enjoy these hours in the day.. jus being up is an non-enjoyable experiance to me...:( lol....but its all good..it will all be worth it after this x-mas paycheck.....Woooo....double time and a half for 2 full days!@

I just got a new job at future shop and Im getting 31 hours a week and Ive already had 2 nights where I put in over time and its been a week oh well I likes money :kam:

yeah Im rockin the full time 40 hours a week schedule.....plus I can come in on my days off or anytime and work overtime...so its kinda good taht way...if u have some expenses...jus work hella during that pay period and it can help it all out significantly.....wow...jus looking outside....its getting pretty light out there...I haven't seen the daytime in weeks LOL!

dude do u work atthe airport cause that is a ramp shift and i am just being trained there this week so it really sucks cause now i have to work x-mas and new years and just get regular time cause i havent worked with the company for more then 30 days how bunk this sucks
