Americans complain about Canadians being bosty

I read an artical the other day about Amercans not likeing how Canadians ware their Canadian flags on their back packs and have to be so direct how where Canadian not American.
They complain that its shameful to them and that Canadians are making them look bad, beign boasty about our country, and feel we should be more sencitive to our neighbors?

I think it's a bullshit article.

I heard about it, but I know a lot of Americans. If they happen to know anything about Canada (you'd be seriously surprised how few even have the typical stereotypes let alone concept of us as a country) they tend to think that Canada's a pretty cool country in a "Little Brother" type sense.

Why is it that the media wants to turn everything into a who-has-the-bigger-dick contests?

I find the comment funny since my American friends who I travel to Europe with try REALLY HARD to act like Canadians.

They and add 'eh' to the end of all their sentences and wear hoserware as much as possible.

Being a true Canadian I could give a rats ass and just drank my beer.

Of corse we cant say "all" americans think this way. Im sure we can all justify with your typical american, however I have been lucky enough to meet some amazing americans during my travels and lets not forget all the canadian americans... or should that be american canadian?

Unfortunately, too many of the "typical" americans base their opinion on what CNN tells them to.
