how important is eye contact to you?

when i meet a new girl, i think its all about their eyes. they are the doorway to our souls. you can tell almost everything about someone from their eyes i think.

Eye Contact is real important. Although I dunno what it is, I think it's my eyes or something but I intimidate some people when I make eye contact with them. Could be they can see the evil deep inside me? :kam:

i make sure to look ppl who i am speaking to right in the eye. not a constant stare but i do look them in the eye. its shows your confiedent and interested in THEM and not whats going on around them. i can't stand when ppl look somewhere else when your speaking to them..

yea no doubt...i always make eye contact with people but i find a lot of people find that intimidating for some reason. i've been told i have a very dominant personality and at times i'm not even aware of it. i think the combination of that and eye contact puts some people on the defensive.

if you dont make eye contact when bein spoken too i think its a bit rude to not look at the person.. makes it like your not even paying attention and its just in one ear and out the other!! but i dont like it when ur kissing and there lookin right at you.. that kinda creeps me out a lil lol....

i search for eye contact..can't stand ppl who look me in the eyes when talking. or the ones who look too deeply..that freaks me out.

hahaha, u must be checkin some nice piece of ass out then...u dun necessarily have to keep eye contact in order to have a good convo or anything, of course there are certain exceptions :PartEkid:

Eye contact is SO important. Although I have to admit that I dont always keep contact when I talk. But I always try.
I think its sexy when someone keeps the eye contact with me. (it depends..)

As you're walking down a busy street or hallway try to make and keep eyecontact with as many people as you can. See if they become uncomfortable....or attack you. Either response is normal.

For the most part i do ensure eye contact....But I do tend to check things out around me as well. I dont know why. I think i am just a people watcher at heart. :)

But I am always involved with the conversation. and when Im talking to them my eyes wander off and on, then too

I think too much eye contact in a clubbing type atmosphere, is almost a bad combination. Depending on the people of course. Most guys take that as a threat or a domination tactic....which is what gets me into trouble sometimes....*shrugs*

I dunno..i guess i understand why prolonged eyecontact makes people nervous. Just take cats and dogs for example. Eyecontact is seen as a form of aggression for them which is why if you look at cats and dogs for a long time they tend to get nervous. Maybe we're a little like that too?
It kinda seems like people are challenging you when they look at you too long.
But i like eyecontact, i think it shows a lot about a person if they can look you in the eye. I respect that.
