^clockwork orange is a brilliant book. does your version have the dictionary in the back? does it have the last chapter that burgess wrote, but only included in later editions of the book?

my copy didn't have a dictionary so i wrote my own as i read through it and figured out which words meant what. it was fun.

I have read Angels And Demons, Deception Point and Digital Fortress.

I found Digital Fortress to be so-so and it is prolly only interesting if you are into computer stuff. However, I liked Deception Point. Angels And Demons is even better imho. Some of the characters in it are the same as in The Da Vinci Code (which I haven't read yet) but the story is different and not connected afaik so I guess it doesn't really matter which one you read first...hmm!

I'm only on page 24 but yeah, I like it a lot. It's hard for me to read though b/c I'm not a native speaker and there's lots of expressions I have never ever heard of so it can be a bit tiring. Anyway, I love it so far!

Actually I'm reading this version:

It's in English, however, there's no dictionary. But it has footnotes that explain some terms, which makes it a lot easier. The last chapter? Lemme see...well I have no idea. How to find out? It was printed in 1992 so I guess yes? Dunno...

okay, i'm putting 'the collapse of globalism' on hold right now because it's too close to all the stuff i'm doing in school. a little too heavy for my pleasure reading at the moment.

going to read: Home Land by Sam Lipsyte instead.

Apathy and Other Small Victories
By Paul Neilan

Hands down the funniest book I've ever read. It's a cross between a Robert (?) Sedlacks "The African Safari papers" wit and Office Space. A must read for sure.
