i used to like guitar boys.....

back when i used to play the drums and was in a few bands, i couldn;t get enough of them!

but then they started to really annoy me. They seem to have really big ego's just cuz they play the guitar. big deal!
then one of them wrecked my hearing by messing around with an amp and causing it to have a tonne of feedback ; which fucked up my left ear.
that ended the guitar player fantasy....

Well i dont have a big ego, but i'd say i was a good guitar player.... i played for 6 years from grade 6-12. then didn't touch it for a couple years, but now i practice every day..i play a high quality steal string acoustic, i hate electric, doesen't have that crisp soulful tone that an acoustic produces... i usually just make stuff up, or play sublime solos, nirvana, red hot chilli peppers etc etc and old rock, or i play classical spanish and a couple romantic tunes for the ladys :) , im gonna start piano soon, and possibly drums by the summer....

Meh.. Talent is sweet stuff in general. In my opinion, people who are just damn good at what they do, are awesome.

I play guitar... I wish I took lessons or learned more though... I took a class in grade 12 and just played around after that (2-3 years total)... getting descent technique, just need to improve my knowledge of scales and theory in general...

note: decypher... we should have a jam session in the future... you sound like you have a similar style to mine...

been playing electric for about 6 years now, acoustic for 8. I can also play drums and bass, and learning some piano. Plus im good at recording. Ive been playing in bands for about 3 years now. So yeah, love me!
