and i think the people who come on here and make fun of the people who enjoy the plaza and are gonna be sad to see it go should shut their mouths. we all know how its considered the "cool thing" to dis the plaza and still show up at every plaza party, but just keep it to yourself.

Plaza lost its veneer after Sweet threw in the towel. Still, a shame to see it go though...looks like bigger promoters will just have to start getting creative. My God the horror!

I agree. I don't get why so many bitter, ex ravers are glad to see it go. Yes, I know "rave" is supposed to be undergound or whatnot. But as a Venue, Plaza Of Nations was clean, accoustics was great (if setup properly), easy access and the possiblity of 3 different large sized rooms.

Ya'll should attend a party in Seattle, a massive and see how it is to party it up in a huge, damp, too dark venue.

It's sad to see Plaza go, but its all business. :soak: Like Mark Paul said, looks like the Promoters will have to come up with a new idea. Maybe with this lack of a massive venue, the scene will become underground for a short period.

PS - PNE cannot be the new Plaza. It's not comfy, and the rooms sux. Well mabe except for the main hall.

Hey now, the palace rocked! It had that fountain in the lobby that they used to fill with dry ice! Back to the fucking palace I say!
