spybot

im trying to use spybot search and destroy to find and clear out all the spyware on my computer but it keeps crashing whenenver it gets to this certain point. its always at the same time.

has anyone else used this program? or had this sort of problem before? im wondering if the programs fucked or perhaps theres a piece of spyware on here that keeps spybot from working. i dunno.

when's the last time you reformatted your hard drive and 'WIPED' it clean?

And i'm being serious... I've had this 80GB since March 2003 and I've reformatted it once. 3 times and its time to get a new drive.

Drives are cheap.

I use Spybot and Adaware and they take care of almost all crap that is out there.

Never had the problem you described though.

3? Sad sad sad.

When my girlfriend used to run Windows, she'd reformat bimonthly. Now that she's almost exlusively a linux user she doesn't do it that often... heck she doesn't even reboot bimonthly anymore....

i think im going to reformat anyways because i havent done it since i got the computer. spybot and adaware aren't helping me with this problem.
