Does anyone ever really shutdown their PC?

talkin in 3rd person is soo funny, i do it all the time when my friends are riped, they trip the fuck out. But wen thy arnt, they get annoyed FAST, nd tomatoes are thrown.

every now and then ill give it a restart then maybe like ever couple weeks ill giev it the odd shutdown for a lil while.

i shut my computer down since it's in my bedroom. i don't enjoy the fan and the blue lcd display in the front going when i'm trying to sleep. on top of that, if i leave it on over night my mom yells at me for wasting electricity. heh.

hah.. my comp is in my room too, but i actually find it hard to sleep without it on.. just used to the fan noise i guess, plus it doubles as a room heater. keeps my room nice and warm, and it has 8 case fans on a 24" aluminum case. plus it has blue LEDs attached to the clear fans that spin around and make it look cool.

Since mine is beside my bed I shut it off pretty much every night.

With the fan, the occasional hard drive sound, the modem lights, the bright ass red mouse light and the blinking lights off the tower it gets, shut down!

I am on a laptop... it remains on over night although I lock my firewall for the most part.

I do shut it off during the day though as I use a different PC at work.
