You guys are right, a 200-400 person party is attainable... but we used to be out there in full force working as hard as we could to fill out riverside (1600 people in 2 rooms) and we used to do it every week! now, we're like '300 is not out of the question'.,..

i know unconscious is out there all the time trying their best to get their 1000, and every company who can get over 500 (like twisted, shy bros, uh oh, agro, etc.) all deserve props, but the culture needs to be a little more well recieved and us ravers gotta stop shit talking our own scene if we ever expect things to get better. why aren't we being represented as much anymore?! we used to be in highschools more, we used to be in shop windows, in people's hands, on people's cell phones (our infolines), etc. etc. damn.

let's not turn this into another thread about why we can't get people to parties.. maybe they just don't wanna do it anymore. it's not new and exciting.. i dunno - i tell ya what though - get somebody to give me some investment capitol and i'll create something new and exciting... until then I've already given my paycheck for the next year (and the past one) to the rave scene so fuck it.

It was always fun not knowing a party was somewhere out in Chilliwak until a couple hours before the doors opened.

I miss those days when you just didn't care about what city the party was in or how you'd get there.
