suggestions?

I'm trying to pick a place to head out with some friends for my birthday next weekend, and having a hard time making a decision.

I'm open to clubs, pubc, bars, cafes (so long as they're licensed) ... generally leaning more towards 'funky' than 'bangin/loud' though.

Any suggestions?

I'd suggest Section 3 in Yaletown, it's a nice little restaurant/lounge.

no, we went there for our staff party a few weeks ago, the meals were pretty reasonably priced, and the drinks weren't outrageous.

dope chillin atmosphere, and sweet ass tunes, at least on saturdays.funky house, jazzyish shit, that sorta stuff.

thx for the tip, but I was just there for another friend's b-day yesterday - aiming for variety here =)
