The way the plaza is right now its costing the city just being there, not really being rented out other than for the few small events are raves once in awhile.
Honestly as a casino it would be way better for the city, and it will created jobs as myra as already stated, plus its need to be fixed up anyways, not for raves but for something new anyways. Coquitlam got a casino and the place is the king of business. Plus raves only happen at the plaza every few months now, not like weekly like it once was.

Ive been to the 1st ever plaza rave and im sure as hell gonna be there for the last one. I dont care what some peopel say but i fucking love plaza and i think its the best venue ever. As muc as i hate to admit though it is a very wise move to cahnge it into a casino. I mean the building itself wasnt even making money. I mean how can it? Like 6 plaza raves a year + some conventions and shows here and there. Ah wells change is good like the new mc nuggets.

Hell, how many people ever win at a casino, I would rather blow the same amount of money into a god damn rave and dance the night away rather than dumbfoundedly plunk coins into sum stupid box that radomly decides who will win quarters. There is more fun in a party than a Donald Trump casino. Gold diggers can fuck themselves. PLus crime is an issue, so another blow to casinos. :soak:

The plaza of nations isn't there because raves can be held there legally, its there because originally it was to be a building many thought would bring them money. At least i th ink so .
