Tax Return has arrived!

Today I got my tax return... I got $840!!! Not bad considering I thought I was gonna get around $580. So I went to MOPAC and got some Car Goodies... MSD 6A Ignition, Intake Gasket and a Flowmaster Muffler installed. Fun fun fun! :c-tard:

for some FUCKED UP REASON... im not alloud to file my taxes. :'(
my mom still claims me as a dependant or some bullshit so i dont get to file my own returns.
it really sux cuz i dont have a job right now... i pretty much quit the day i got my t4... and i could really use my tax return money.
mowel... i guess i'd rather not be cut off of my mom extended health care than have 100 extra bucks! :(

Uhhh dood... if you made income last year you gotta file an income tax... doesn't matter if your mom cliams you as a dependant. She can still get the credits (I see from your age you're 18 and I think the Child Tax Benefit stops @ 18) and if it's a single mom situation she can still claim you as an eligible dependant.

filing your own taxes won't get you cut from your moms extended health. you are only 18, and still living at home. my moms insurance covers me until i'm 19, and for as long as i need after that as long as i'm a fulltime student and living at home.

you can file your taxes on your own if you like. ask a friend if they're dad could do it for you or something.

My Admin guy at work is primo... got my T4 in January actually. I did my taxes myself. www.ufile.ca and then send it in to NetFile... if you do it quick it takes like 2 weeks. Luna: I drive a 1979 Mustang 5Litre. :kam:
