With an early baby there can be complications or even health issues with the baby. If you are late and the doctors think its time - they can induce labour. Although I dont know if this is safe either (I think it is though)
Out of the 4-5 lucky ladies who I have known pregnant with in the last little while - they have all been late.

Premature babies tend to have health problems. They may be fine at birth but they are still considered high risk until they are about 5 years old.
My aunt has 4 kids and all were premies, though they have no serious problems, they get colds/flu/ear infections etc. more frequently and they keep them longer then most kids their age. If you're late you are more likely to have a vaginal birth then a c-section which is better for you and the baby. Late babies will also usually be larger (weigh more) and will have higher apgar score then a premie.

i better not be 2 weeks late i will go nutz i am going nutz now and its only just the day........and my mom is driving me nutz with asking me every 5 secons...is it time yet???.....like fuck when its time i will tell you so get over it

maybe the baby likes to swim around too much. i was two weeks late! and i put my mum in labour on her birthday, lol.
good luck with everything - i hope you have a smooth delivery and that your baby is healthy as can be! I don't think I've ever met you - but from what I have read you sound like you will be an amazing mother to your child. i think you should keep a journal during these days - and show it to your child and be like "YOU STAYED IN TOO LONG", lol. but i think a journal might help you ... hope you have a purdy widdle baby soon! ` allie
