Some of the stuff that they say when they are talkign to you about electonic music and raves is just too funny. THe other day we wer sitting there and my boyfriend starts playing some funky house. Our friend Ben was over and he hasn't ever been to a rave or know anything about it. So after listening for a couple minutes he says "Man this is sweet, next time I should bring over some of my rave!" hahahahaha

Its great, cuz ive been listening to metal, punk, hip hop, rock and electronic music forever so when i hang out with different groups of people theres always usually something good to listen too and i usually can contribute to the convo(musically)

A couple months ago when I was in class this guy was walking around listening to some sort of music. I stopped him and asked him what it was and he said it was "rave" music. So I thought, hey maybe I should take a listen.

1. are you on XTC
2. is that rave dancing

ive been kicked out of a school dance before cause the teachers were sure i was on xtc cause i was dancing to hard.

I love it non-ravers come up to me at the clubs and ask if I am a raver, just because of the way I dance....

Then they ask me to teach them how to dance "like that"
normally I say that you just have to move the way the music makes you move, there is no real "rave-dance" but a couple weeks back, I was at a gay bar, where they were playing funky house all night (my friend was DJing, so I got to pick all the tracks)

So, I was busting out hardcore, when a few 40+ year old men came over and said they really liked how I was dancing.... so I taught 5 of them how to raverskip

I wish I had my camera... watching these guys trying it out was fucking hilarious... 3 of em got it down pat by the end of the night, but the other 2 gave up after about an hour...

Got a few free drinks out of the deal too!
