First of all, I have to say that we as a canucks fan club have never ever observed steady goaltending (with the exception to kirk McLean for that magical stanley cup run season, whoooot! :tounge1: ). As for Clouts, he is an up and down goalie who ALWAYS lets in the softies!

Hellz, I cna prolly skate up to him with a beach ball instead of a puck and score on him :finger:

I will admit he has his shining moments and he is the games MVP. However, Clouts is not the best coffee out there. I believe Johan Hedberg is the go-to guy. So he was dumped into a situation where the defence sucked ass and a high powered avalanche just board over the whole team like this was some sort of walt disney movie (hence the might duck of anaheim...go figure why they suck this year too).

Getting Kolzig for clouts might be a good trade...so lets not knock off Malik cuz he is fucking awesome...and Baumgartner is also picking it up as well. I see potential in Pronger so he stays.

I give props to Brad May....this dude gets into a fight TWICE with a 285 lber black dude Worrel...AND to top off the night gets the TWO lonesome goals...not bad for a guy who might be on the hot seat for the trading block eh? Fuck anyone who decides to trade one of our enforcers!!! :finger:

Am I happy with a 9-2 loss to the Avalanche? I could say I am disappointed with the effortless task at hand the canucks should have conquered. What is the effect on the canucks when Burts gets kicked out and most likely fined for the season? All in all after the fists fly and blood is on the ice, can we call this game REVENGE for the Naslund attack a couple meetings prior to this game?? Possibly. And so should Moore learn from his errors not to mess with the number one point-getter in the NHL, but also not to mess with his BEST FRIEND either...so fuck you Steve!!! :finger: You deserved every bit of TOOLING from Bertuzzi :finger:

The Wild are up next...I think the canucks are shakey, Johan will start in the crease, and preserve a 3-2 frantic victory for the canucks :keebler:

name a fucking goalie who let 4 goals in the first 15 min of the first period, and I will show you a goalie who got 2 shutouts back-to-back through solid 2 games. That would be Johan....face it, clouts is a backup. Johan shows better determination to win. But too many games were lost due to bad goaltending....Abischer is still a better goalie than Clouts, and he WAS a backup to the greatest goalie the nhl ever had. So to say Clouts is a number one is definitely over-estimating...also, let me know who lets in a softie 50 footer get by him?

indeed cloutier had a bad game, he has proven to be an amazing goalie, although when he chokes, he chokes bad, we'll see if he'll be able to correct this.. but i have to admit hedberg has been looking sharp, and i felt bad for all the 2-man adv.'s he had to go up against(bad calls), but this scenario would have to carry on longer before making an active judgement against the two goalies.
