lets all please forget about Todd and move on...
as hard as that is too swallow....
we have made this incident way more than it ever should of been Todd definitly made a mistake. and well he is being punished for it. But i think we owe it to the players of Vancouver to move on. I myself was comsumed by this. But its oh so time to move on. Regardless of how rediculous the suspension is. It happened. and we can't change it. We still have a solid team. If we keep depicting this to death. Its only going to make it harder on Todd. I feel if Todd can get some peace, he will have a long time to build up motivation for next year and hopefully come back with twice the heart and desire he had this year. So this is my lame little attempt of asking everyone to forget about Todd. Focus on the team we have. Because saying how much miss will not bring him back. And sure it will make Todd feel better. But i think Todd needs to figure this shit on his own. It was his mistake and thats the fact. Our players need more support than ever. This suspension could go either way for the canucks. they could finish terribly and all through the summer everyone will be blaming Todd. And things will get worse and worse and we all know how fast a canadian team can fall apart. Or we can rally our guys to finish strong. Sure we may not win the stanley cup. But i think we got to see the big picture here. Cuz if they do play well in the playoffs we will be saying "just imagine how good we will be when Todd comes back next year". i can't stand all the little bitches that Jumped ship after Bertuzzi did what he did... in my opinion its a rough game and those players know this... they are signing their own waver by playing... cheap shots happen all the time.. the only thing that pisses me off is tha fact that nothing is done until somthing to this extent happens... whom ever Jumped off the band wagon.. Just heard Brian Burke's rant on Sportsnet. I must agree with everything he had to say. The media blew this completly out of porportion and made it worse than it was. Hopefully he does what he says and tries to get him re-instated sooner. He is after all a first team all-star. The league is losing one of their all-stars and all because their making an example out of him. BS i tell you. BS!
