My Fish Has No Tail:(

ACK something happend to him
i think the bigger ones ate it off
do they grow them back?
i put him in a jar by himself so he dosent get eaten alive

i used to have some. then they had babies and my angelfish ate the babies.

never had them lose their tail or eat each other or anything though.

I had some vicious Goldfish once... I think they had self-image problems. We bought a purty fancytail one and they mauled the poor bastard... found him hobbling around with a stub of a fin in the morning. GOLDFISH!?! Not even Piranhas... they did a good impression though. :tounge1:

neon tetras need to be in a tank/bowl with small fish.
I would go to a pet store and find out what fish mix well togehter.

i've witnessed one of my big fish eat a smaller one and later he spat the bottom half of the body out. it was gross.. made my dad take it out

But i am sorry for it's lost, i know what it's like to lose a tail...wait, no i don't. But it is sad none the less.
Get an army of neon tetras and put them in the tank and maybe hopefully they'll fight back instea dof just sitting there getting eaten.

fish fins grow back but it takes some time.. i have neons and an angel fish and a buncha other fish and the big angel fish always picks on the neons and wat not,., but in time they do grow back ( i kno this b/c my angel fish died like 3 weeks ago ) it was like a 4 yr old fish the size of my palm.. lol fish rock

when ever i fed my turtle fish she used to bite off the tails first so tehy couldnt really swim then she'd eat off the fins and the fish would jsut wiggle, then she would start from the back so it would be alive.
she was a killer.

I had a friend with 100 gold fish. He was happy with his 100 gold fish. I came over to his house one day. I got drunk,,, very drunk. I made some bad jokes about wanting fish for dinner. He fucking counted his gold fish the morning after. He had 99.

Oop's I don't know how that fish got in a glass hidden in other room.
