Cowichan Highway, You can find one of the cleanest and deepest lakes on the island, a place where you can go tubing, seadooing, and windsurfing in the summertime. There's mountain climbing in Sooke, surfing in Long Beach, and some of the finest marijuana to be offered on the continent.

Don't knock the Island. One thing you learn real quickly whilst living off the island is that the only problem it has is the fact that all anybody can think to do in the most beautiful place in the world is to complain.
