Could you "live" without your Cellular phone???

For some people their cell phone is basically their life, their precious if you will. I don't have a cell phone, but I do assume that people who have one are hooked on having one and could not run their daily life if they did not own one. What are your thoughts and opinions on Cell phones. Are they good or a WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

I have a cell, however I have lived without one for quite a long time before and could give it up without any worries anytime. They do come in handy at times but mostly I find they are just like being on a leash in a way.

Couldnt stand it when I had one. God damn electronic leesh. Waste of money IMO... sadly though I think I may have to get another. Quarters are getting too heavy.

I've survived without one. I had one, it was usually more of a nuissance than anything, all it seems to do is rudely interrupt more important things...

I dunno if I can survive without my friend's cellphones that I can call at all hours to have random drunken conversations with :p

I have had cell phones a couple times in my life, and I have NO problem living without one now...

Granted, I do spend 8 or so hours a day on the phone at work, so the last thing I want to do when I am not working is talk on the phone.... hell, the only reason I bother with a land line is to get messages on...

i have unlimited minutes and no one calls me, except for rave days. my phone is my life cuz ppl call me about tickets..which for some odd reason im obsessed with. dont ask why, cuz i dont know. yah ive gone a few days without my cell and i wanted to shoot myself.. i have no clue why. its my 3 hand.

Had one a few times... convenient... but always ringing when I didn't need the distraction. Like once I was Gliding and at 200' on Final Approach to land at Abbotsford it started ringing. Now that was inconvenient let me tell you. :soak:

just get one of those payphone cards from telus. then you don't have to carry around quarters, it's alot more convenient if you are going to be using payphones.

i could live without my cell phone, but i wouldn't want to really. it just makes things more convenient for me, which i like. my parents also like me having it [if they didn't, they wouldn't pay for it] since we've all got conflicting schedules it's easier to get ahold of each other. plus i can't be having people call my house line all the time anyways with everyone's sleep schedules. no one really calls me anyways though, so whatever.

I would personally get a phone and only use it for emergencies or when I am out. I only give the phone number to important people. The rest can try to reach me at home. Don't have a phone, but I could see it as a potential distraction. All in all, I am glad I don't have another money sucker on my hands LOL

when i'm a loser at home who never wants to go out hermit styles i never touch my phone.

but lately i've been using up all the unused minutes rapidly. i think i learn more on the can't live without it. sure beats running or driving around looking for a pay phone.... and quarters.
