poems about your exes
my gf of 3 years and i were separated for a couple of months. we're not back together, but we've sorta made up, and are now independant, while being partial to each other. single but taken kinda thing. while we were apart, i was seeing someone (not too serious, no sex or anything), and wrote a poem about them. i recently put it in with some other stuff and made one awesome piece, but i'm gonna feel like the biggest asshole in the world if i go up and read something about this other person. but it is such a winning peice...wtf should i do?

ya. you're so right. fuck it. if you wanna hear it, i'll be doing the open mic at this monday's poetry slam, april 5th, cafe deux soleils, 2096 commercial drive. 8pm sign up, 845pm open mic, 9pm slam. this week's feature is Ivan E Coyote, and she rocks my world. i'll slam it later on after i get some feedback from the open mic. i gotta leave early anywhoo to head down to the commodore for DJ Shadow & Blackalicious....wheeeeeee!!!!! (thanks for the added push to move on with my life, every little bit counts).
