I have a great paying job! I am helping a real cause, its called defending canadian herritage! I specify in the petition letter that The Plaza of Nations is the truest example of that herritage. I will not give up, because if the petition does get seriously looked at with my hard efforts, then I can say that to the people who signed, and to myself, that we all helped save a unique venue. We all want it to remain in its current state. Even if the petition gets over looked, at least I tried.

I think I have already made myself clear. I am doing this mainly for the purpose of preserving Canadian Herritage. I don't do drugs, and I see the Plaza of Nations as a great place to showcase to outside visitors and to current vancouver residents of Vancouvers previous international achievements (I.E. Expo 86).

btw: money talks, and a casino is money all the fuckin time. all day non stop. how do you plan to come close to that sort of money? and newsflash we are building a bigger and better convention centre for the olympics. so we don't need a convention centre, especially one that's old and doesn't get booked because it's too small. will you pay for the maintenance of plaza out of your pocket?

There's nothing wrong with it, but do you honestly think the city owes you a place to do it in? You can get fucked in a warehouse, a field, in your basement for all anyone cares. Its too big of a price to pay. Let me remind you of what I have already stated in a previous post: In order for the City to realize $12 million in revenue, people must lose $206 million; can the City afford to lose that much in citizen spending. I could go on forever, but I simply just don't have the time, Id rather spend my time SAVING The Plaza of Nations, instead of arguing over why it should even be saved. I am sorry, but once again, as a concerned Vancouver citizen, I feel compelled to at least making an effort of saving it, if not for your behalf, for the ones who have keen interest to support my idea.
