i've been skiing for 14 years...

boarded a few times in the past 5 years, probably gonna try again this season...

but i usually stick with skiing cuz it's what i'm good at, and i can hot dog all over the place :)

I hated having to recover my skis after each wipeout so i started boarding and haven't looked back since. :D:

pete man, how do u cope with bailing on a board, and winding up in a ditch!?! it took me like an hour to get out cuz the damn board was buried in the snow and i couldn't detach it...

i used to ski then switched a couple of seasons ago to boarding....
i was dissapointed that i only went out ONCE last season...i odn't know what the fuck is wrong with me.....
i can carve and do some basic grabs but nothing special....i still need some shit for my board....actually i want a different board...its a beast...it weighs like 10+ pounds.....its a cool board but i find it too much of a dead weight...

I've only skiied like three times and I totally suck.

So all you 10+ year skiiers will be whipping down the diamonds & the blues and I'll be put=putting down the greens...

this will be my 4th year this winter...
i have a pass up grouse cuzi live 5 minutes away from it..grouse is good, but it doesn't have very many runs. oh well,,i can't wait until the season starts..hopefully it's not shitty and raining..i hate it when it gets icey up there cuzi broke my arm once falling on my wrist and that fucked my whole season up!!

I second this! Meet at Cypress!

I skiied once. It took me over an hour to get down Collins on skis. I just took them off, returned the rental and clipped on the board. I was MUCH happier. So what if my ass isn't round like a skiers?

If you are at Cypress, look for the hardbooter with the Yellow M&M guy on his helmet AND STAY OUT OF MY WAY! :c-tard:
