My art will be displayed in "...But I Will Remain" art show

the show was already in Vancouver at Misanthropy (an art gallery for all you people who have no clue). It's a collection of Johnny Cash portraits...each artist was given a portrait of Johnny Cash and were told to add to the portrait to make it their own tribute to the late star. The work is amazing...each artists brings their own style to their portrait...there's graff artists, contemporary artists...everything.

I was asked to contribute to the art show and my peice will join the show when it gets to Toronto for the show here and then i believe the show travels down to new york and around other states and i THINK it will end up back in Vancouver in July. I'll let you know for anyone that's interested.

i'm excited :)

are you coming on to me bob? cuz if you are......cool.

my peice is unfinished right now...i need to draw all over it with crayon. allll ovvvvvvvver it.

but i'll show you when its completely done.

but only if you promise to pay the 5 or 10 bucks it costs to see the actual show when it comes back to van in the summer.

congrats sam! must be exciting to exhibit something!! my very first show is end of this month.. just the foundation show, no biggy, but im nervous! im def gonna check out the show if it comes to van!

btw to everyone....GO TO THE VAG ASAP! i haven't been there for the new show yet..but i heard its absolutely brilliant. HUGE buzz on it right now. it is the ron longstaffe collection. im gonna take a trip down when im done with this overload of work.

yeah my new photo series will be shown for one day here in toronto and i'm in talks with a contact in vancouver right now so hopefully i'll have my "fashion cubed" series displayed in a gallery this summer out west.

as for the portrait...it is exciting cuz it's basically my first time going back to fine art/drawing in a really long time. the last time i had a peice of fine art artwork in a art show was quite a few years ago.
