thats cool, I think most electronic is very work progressive.
I just cook in Photoshop to some good DnB..

my mom doesnt mind some of my lower tempo funky house ether :)

Heck, my mum really enjoys a lot of the floaty epic trance that I sometimes play for her. It's good meditative music for whenever she does a reiki treatment on someone.

I guess, really, it's because a lot of floaty, epic trance is just New Age music with a disco beat to it.

Depends on the Trance. My mom's cool with Robert Miles type stuff, my dad too. Jean Michel Jarre are other favourites (My mom used to write concert/promo listings for the radio with Jarre in the background). If it's New-Agey then they're down.

And tested: Why is that sketchy? I personally think 40-50 year olds having fun at a rave responsibly is a lot less sketchy than 15 year olds on 8 tabs and a couple points "to keep their energy up".

my mom has epilepsy and one time i put on some really hard trance and she couldnt concentrate and went mental. it really hurt her i felt so bad.

My mom loves most of the funky and disco house that I play. Haha, she recognizes all of the samples in my disco house records from back when she was partying in the 70's in Argentina.
