Thoughts on Karma

But I'm really not diggin the whole "not allowed to give (so_and_so) karma until you've given other people some" sorta thing.


So
What if.....
it gets set up in such a way that...
if you give someone many subsequent karma points,
each consecutive karma point you give them counts half as much as the previous karma you gave them?


ie.
Lets say I give oh... lets say... Synx .. 5 karma points, 1 after the other.
maybe in 5 different threads, maybe for 5 different responses in the same thread... maybe all for the same response cos I just find it that stupid/rad. who cares.


1st one counts as 1 point
2nd one counts as 1/2 pt
3rd one counts as 1/3 pt
4th one counts as 1/4 pt
and so on.

(or something like that)


kinda like waveform harmonics.

I have another question - does the amount of karma a sender has alter how much the karma they give you is worth? When I get it from some people, it seems to be worth more than from others.

where does it say if youve gotten bad karma? does it just subtract from your karma level or what?

Bad karma shows up as red.
I have a greyish black karma dot that is somewhat confusing though. Maybe that person has their karma turned off? Or it could be someone with bad karma trying to give out the good stuff.

i remember last Time Karma was around, we had the same problem with the grey boxes.
