some interesting censorship going on that seems to lean to one side

what could be the reason behind the favortism? money... hmm i guess it could be a few things, but its odd how the members are leaning in a more sensible direction then the 'moderator' has been able too

Well, I'm as against censorship as anyone else.

But you have to remember that this board is owned and opperated by someone - its not some kind of constitutionally protected free public service. Nobody has a 'right' to say anything here, use of the board is really more of a privilege.

Then again, I'm not involved in all of this raver-vengence-shit, so I don't really care either way.

Its a part of life, people can't be happy without igniting some kinda fued. Its like people coming up to you and asking you if your fine, than proceeding to fix things by offering you drugs.

Ok maybe not but i just wanted to say that haha.

The bottom line here is:

It's Myles' site...if you don't like the way he runs it, TOO BAD. You can either deal with it and post here, or not post here. Either way, it's still his site, and he can still do pretty much whatever he wants with it. I don't see people lining up to volunteer to help Myles run the site - granted, there are people who really appreciate Myles' work, but I feel as though, overall, most posters take the site for granted and think that they should have the final word.

If something's such a big deal, it probably shouldn't be advertised on the board anyhow. Person to person meetings and telephones are the methods of communication that are more appropriate for those types of discussions.
