how soon is too soon?

So i'm back on the dating scene again. And i've met this really nice guy. Well brought up with good moral values. We just started hanging out recently because my friends told me he liked me and so i talked to him for a bit and found out how much of a nice guy he was. Now this probably wont proceed much further unless we have the "relationship talk" I hate that talk, whens too soon and whens it too soon to kiss? Wow i feel like a little kid again. But honestly I haven't really dated in like 2 years. And I don't want to come off as a slut if i kiss him too soon, or even worse despirate by having a relationship talk after 2 dates.
Advice please :)

kiss him if YOU want.
your not gonna seem a slut or even desperate if you do so, you'll make him happy, you'll most likely be happier..and its not like hes gona think, oh shes a SLUT, she kissed me.woah. nah man. doesnt go down like that.

I thought how soon was too soon for sex... you should ALWAYS wait before climbing into bed, it means that much more.

thanx for the info, I totally sounded pg13 but hey! i'm still in highschool so i gotta remember about reputations and all that shit. I think i wanna take things slow... even though i wanna jump his bones but i'll just have to hold back for a bit. theres one more question i need some advice on but i'll make a whole new thread for that because its a total different topic.
