Adding Indexes to Mp3s

Hi there!
I want to be able to burn a bunch of mp3 sets onto a cd but is it possible to add index points so that each set gets broken up into tracks (but with no pauses in between)? I know if you are burning an audio cd this is possible, but nero 6 doesn't seem to support indexing for data cds. I would have posted this in the music forum but no one seems to really post there :P

Only way I know of doing this is to rip the mp3 to audio with a cue file and then rerip it back to an mp3 again in order to get the track markers.
