Are coat checks safe?

Hi, so I'm going to the grand finale tomoro night and was wanting to put stuff in the coat check, I'm a little paranoid. I mean with thousands of people flailing around all messed up, I'm sure tons lose or "lose" their ticket stubs for their coats... if this happens can they pick and choose which things are theirs? This sucks because i really wanted to bring my digital camera, but the risk of it getting stolen in coat check? I don't know. If anyone can tell me how the process works so i know whether or not to leave my valubles behind or to know its safe...

99.9% of the time the coat check is safe

When we did our coatcheck for KISS one jacket got stolen or misplaced or ???
so it can happen. Most of the time it should be all good

if you lose your ticket, they usually listen well if you can describe the coat, especially if it has something in a specific pocket, ie: there's a lighter in the inside pocket, really gives away your innocense

lol. i dunno man. keep your chit on you, that's all i can say. worst feeling ever if you're wanting to go home in the morning and they can't find your jacket. i used to just leave my jacket in the car and just withstand being cold just so i didn't have to worry about it during the night while i'm at the party.

and if you are to coat check it, don't leave $1000 bills in the pockets. that's all i gotta say. :P

raiel from abby's jacket going missing for a bit there was hella suspicious, sometimes shady people work they ways into coat check

yeah, my friend lost the stub at twisted, and we waited around for over half hour, trying to convince them to let me have it. thank god i remembered my id was in my pocket, so it waqs easy to tell it was mine. they were really hardcore about it. and when we described it to them, they couldnt find it, so i got really worried....but then eventually they let him go back there and look, (again, think about the id) and he said that while he was back there, he got to meet armin....sigh....

Nope the meets at 2:30am....Tim, I would never let my poetry readings coincide with the FNK meet times. I can't handle that kind of competition.

I wouldn't be worried i've bin to alotta plaza parties and i always use coat check and never had a problem. Once i saw some dude try and steal a jacket and he got slammed through a table be security.
