what to rave . . .

So, as I've posted before, it's been four+ yrs since I went to a rave. I'm seeing this girl who really wants to go to a rave and has never been. Unfortunately, she had no comp, so she's only checked out FnK when over here. Wondering if anyone anyone knows any raves w/ excellent dj's commin up. Yeah, I could just pick any old one, but, I'm entrusting to the skill and expertise of vetern FnKer's to steer me in the best direction.

Any suggestions?

Personally, I recommend a nightclub like Sonar or Lotus for the major league talent and best atmosphere, though more Lotus for a rave feel.

However, if a ravey rave is what she really wants, wait for Shambala in the summer time. Nothing beats psychedelic tunes under a summer's starry night sky.

if this girl is older then 19, save her the grief of seeing 14 year old girls dressed up like sluts , sketching out to god knows what.

Go to Vivid Sessions at Sonar for top name Dj's, wicked sets, and great atmosphere.

depends on what kind of music she enjoys. depends what kind of crowd she's comfortable with.

its all personal preference, really. its hard to make decisions for other people especialy when you provide no information on what kind of scene she's into etc.. dnb? trance? funky house? without even the bare bones info i can't give you any advice.

You could always take her to an Island party, there is nothng nicer then the vibe that Island kids give to people who are new to the scene. There is one coming up on may 22. called Sip 4.5, you should bring her to that one.

In fact all you fnk'rs should come, Island party's are fun.
