what razor do you use?
i have been using a Mach 3 for the last few years. didn't get a chance to buy some recently so i decided to just use whatever sort of razor blades my brother has laying around. i geuss these are called gillette atra they got the little while strip on the top and 2 blades. that was the worst shave i've had in a long time. kept plugging up and it felt like i wash shaving with a peice of glass or something.
bottem line is, i didn't think there was a huge difference in razor blades i figured it was all about the commercials trying to sell you something new and expensive. but ya, i think im going to stick with my mach 3 turbo for now.

I use Philishave Electric Razor Rotary. It gets close, but I find the closest shave is usually with Mach 3. Make sure the blade is extremely hot, boil water, and put the blade in the cup of boiling water. Than the blade should cut your hair like a hot knife through butter.

Mach 3's and the new 4 blades are a waste of money.
I get 3 or 4 shaves out of the bloody things and then the blades are dull. 10$ for a packet of 4? get real. 3$ Bic "tough beard" disposable razors are the shit. approx 3 shaves/razor and the price is so right. boo ya

I'm with Max on the not a joy thing. I'm lazy and use my Electric one most of the time... if I am going out to be a Bar Star or a Job then I'll use a blade.

hey if you guys want to get really close to your face.... the secret is
Plucking, it hurts a lot, but in the end you get the best results. It takes about 2-3 hours depending on how fast you do it and how much facail hair you have. But the hair wont grow back for atleast 2 weeks. Also if you have like close to 1 thousand you can get laser removal to kill the hair which lasts 10 years almost.

Im pretty happy with my Schick FX Diamond (2 blades) that I've used for a years now. Not quite as easy of a shave as the Mach 3's but I hate the stupid flippy head of the Mach 3's for getting in tighter areas (good for large open areas though). But yeah, the Schick's replacements are a little cheaper and last a little longer I've found.
Rescently However, I've gotten one of those sample kit things with one of the newer Schick disposable 3 blade rasor.... Wow, very Impressed for a disposable. I may consider trying these out for a while once all my replacement blades are used up. They're reasonably priced too. Have yet to try the new 4 blade rasor.... one of these days when I feel like blowing more cash on device for doing something that I hate!
