Beer stocks drying up

Your local government liquor store may run out of Molson's and Labatts beers by the weekend. That's according to Jay Chambers with the Liquor Distribution Branch. Chambers says, for the most part, what's already on stores shelves is all that's left. He says stores have small mini-warehouses in the back but there isn't a lot of product back there. Chambers tells News1130 LDB is contacting its other suppliers to see if they can fill the gap but he says that could be tough. Molson's and Labatt's products make up 80 per cent of sales.

They're going to run out of Molsons and Labatts? OH NO!

I think the strikers and owners had better come together on an agreement ASAP. If they don't, people are going to be forced to try beer that doesn't suck, and might just stick with it once the strike ends.

Well it's not me... I don't drink that crap unless it's Free. I like to enjoy drinking, instead of cringing at every sip. *shudder* Sudden flashback of drinking "Natural Light" in Florida. Yukk, you know what they say about having Sex in a Canoe...

Team Drunk can adapt to the shortage. Crown or vodka for me this weekend.....and if i want beer, Big Rock makes "Alberta genuine draft" Or i could get some at the brew pub in richmond, the blonde ale there is "pedestrian" but better than alot of the bottled stuff like corona and miller.
