what makes it feel like summer?

(i know its not summer yet...but come on with the weather you would think it was!)

Everytime I go d/t it hits me that the season has changed.. It's not like the weather doesn't speak for itself, but the scenery, atmosphere, and stores go through a complete makeover season after season..

you notice that the store color coding is different, the clothing are different, people on the streets are dressed according to weather and season, it's not just a change in color but also a change of style.. The trees bear green leaves rather than being bare OF leaves.. people are chilling at the beach or taking a jog/walking their dog around stanley park... people lined up outside of mondo gelato's waiting to get a scoop of this and that.. others sitting on the patio of starbucks sipping their frappucinos or their complicated customized drinks.

I just love the change in atmosphere from spring to summer.

-u wake up for work at 5:30 am and it's already sunny & warm outside
-when u can walk around at 9pm and you're not cold
-when u're appartment turns into a sauna
-when margarittas are on the menu for any event
-buying new skate shoes and they stay clean!!!!
