That new American Idol show that's a big prank on bad singers

All I can say is WOAH. so they're training the worst singer/performers they can find to be pop superstars, making them all compete against each other, crushing everyone's spirits by admitting it was a prank and they all suck, then giving the suckiest singer a record deal. Like fuck man. I think this is all an elaborate plan to rebirth grunge rock or something.

The people who are cocky and think that they are the shit totally deserved to get knocked down a few pegs.
I totally feel bad for the people that you can tell are probably low self esteem, probably don't have many friends and it is their dream to sing. They went down to the studio and were probably building up the courage to do it for a couple of weeks and instead of being embarrassed in front of just the three judges, they let them move on to the next round and farther and then finally tell them that they suck in front of a live studio audience. All this after they have built them up. Way to get someone to kill themselves guys...not cool.

i watched the first episode but it made me sad. the people who are good at singing are told that they suck, and maybe singing is all they live for, and so they kill themselves. and then the people who do suck are humiliated, which makes THEM want to kill themselves. and so everyone ends up dead.. what a happy show:)

it is so cheesy but its supposed to be like that. i think its funny that these people are just so bad, and even though the judges talk them up they way too much they dont even notice the jokes on them. seriously, if i went there and sang like that and 3 people were telling me it was awsome, i would be pretty doubtful but i think it is becasue these people's ego's get so big when they hear the judges say they rock they just decide to go with it.

I like the girl who had beautiful huge breasts and when it came time to decide the third judge was like "ok uh...this is kinda embarassing but I wasn't listening to your sinigng becayuse I was watching your boobs the whole time. They are huge!" The girl just looked at him for the longest time. it was grand. but god they were nice

Its awful, that show could cause soo many suicides. :(
Can you imagine being a singer with talent and being told: " You know what? You suck. But the good news is that your hot and Id love to take you out for dinner"
