I'm completely torn.
I hate calgary, but I hate the states and their afternoon hockey more. In my opininion the season ended weeks ago. This is all a bad dream. But look at it this way.....the cup won't have to travel far when it goes to Edmonton next year.

ya the canucks didn't want it as bad.
the flames are a better team, and even a better city. period. i'm sure they will take it all the way. i remember the parties in 89. fun times. 17th ave was fuckin crazy tonight too. i'm glad i got the hell out of there before the dome was empty. fuckin nut jobs everywhere.

We have family in Calgary and i got the cutest picture in my email today of my two little cousins dressed in Flames get-up with their hands on this stanley cup replica, and the caption said "It's sooooo close we can almost touch it" too cute :p

i respect the coach, cuz he's damn good at his job. i respect the team that works hard.. but i just hate the calgary flames... come to think about it i think i hate every canadian team except for the canucks and im pretty sure i called calgary to beat us in the series anyways. You could totally tell that the canucks were gonna lose because first off they won the division title.. (mission complete from what naslund said last year that the canucks wanted to do) at least they didnt come out empty handed. Detroit.. they were in for an ass kicking cuz they're overpaid pricks who are full of old timers, although shanahan's the best. The sharks just got their asses handed to them because sutter knows their tricks. i was cheering for the sharks but oh well.. now ill be cheering for the tampa bay lightning to beat the flames.
I know this sounds kind of stupid but.. doesnt anyone feel that the flames are blue chippers... i mean they work their asses off.. but they werent even in the bloody playoffs for like 8 years.. then they pop out of no where.. beat all three division champs.. whilest the canucks.. had 5-6 playoffs experiences.. get eliminated in the first round like 80% of the time and dont even get to the conference finals.. is that just me that's confused by the situation... i mean really.. how does this happen. They sound like Carolina Hurricanes or the Anahiem might ducks.. except the ducks had giugerre who sucks now. bah.. too much hockey analysis... Go Tampa Bay Go. Philly goin down.

never once did i say...hey veni, get off the wagon. so what if she likes the flames. good for her. i stated that i hate them. got for me. next time just before i post ill waste half my life on here searching other posts to see if its alright i say something. get a life.
