Ok this is what I could find:

The Criminal Code does not now criminalize consensual sexual activity with or between persons 14 or over, unless it takes place in a relationship of trust or dependency, in which case sexual activity with persons over 14 but under 18 can constitute an offence, notwithstanding their consent. Even consensual activity with those under 14 but over 12 may not be an offence if the accused is under 16 and less than two years older than the complainant. 12 year olds can consent to sex if its with another 12 year old or someone not more then two years older.

Statutory rape does not exist in canada. it falls under s.150 of sexual offences. Dont step to me on this, son ;)

I too have been on the otherside of the law at one point in time and from experience a) it's not as much fun as you might think and b) nothing can quite prepare you for dealing with our justice system. Sometimes it makes sense and other times you can't figure it out for the life of you.

Yeah, I hang out at home. But I don't often meet new North Vaners at home. I met people in highschool but after grad when I did go out it was to Van or Burnaby or where ever there was a rave. So I always met non n.van kids.

I think I hang out w/ 3 people from highschool. And see a handfull of N.Van boys every 6 months.

Ok then I can understand this. I used to have a ton of N.Van friends when in school and cap but it didn't take long after school to start drifting apart. I guess I don't really meet too many new people from North van either other than abot 3 or 4 people I grew up with. When I was spinning in clubs it was always downtown on the weekends and mid weeks were out in burnaby and coquitlam so I met alot of people from out ini these remoter places. I am planning on buying a place next year but man I don't know if it's going to be in N.Van cause the house prices are insane. I can get a house in Coquitlam or an apartment in N.Van. It's insane. I don't want ot leave North Van but I might have to. I love N.Van.
