I'm talking about those small places that you may very well walk right by when you are out walking around somewhere say in Vancouver or something. Finally you actually went in and they had awesome food.

I have two:
Kam's on Davie Street... awesome Signaporean food.
Joes Grill on Davie as well - the best breakfast in town! (Not sure about the one on West 4th as I have never been there.)

Hmmmmm... well consider this post to be more about eateries and not take-out IE: pizza, chinese, etc...

best place in van to eat (dont think they deliver) is incendios in gastown.......a bit pricy but tatiest shit ever

East is East on Broadway. Amazing middle eastern food, and a complimentary tiny cup of kickin' chai tea. Prices are high, but portions are big, everything is fucking great, and most of it is organic/free range.

Mekong on the drive has amazing food! it's this tiny restaurant.. the food is fabulous!
There's also this Persian restaurant in North Van called Kash Cool, I always go there with the parents.
Oh and my new favorite place to go for dinner and drinks is DV8 :)

KIRIN SUSHI on 8th St at Columbia in New West...yuuuum
best fuckin' sushi around, and it's diiiiiiiirt cheap, too!

it's just about dinner time, too...*hmm*...
