Just finished my last exam, and now I am a GRADUATE of BCIT!!!! I would say that I am pretty confident I passed all my courses... so SEE YA, BCIT! What Hell that was, but I'm so glad it's all over. Operations Management Grad 2004, Baby!!!!!!!!!!

thats dope...bcit is a dope school..really tough to get through tho according to some of my friends...what type of operations you be managing?

Depending on which company I wanna work with, I can manage in the service industry or manufacturing industry... the one thing that REALLY interested me with that program was with experience I can be a CEO. Now that's living it large. Who knows, maybe one day?

can you tell me a lil more about the program? i want to work in the hospitality field in the upper end management side of it, and have heard some things about bcit programs, but not much. how long was the program? what kind of work did you do? what was the job placement rate post-grad? thanks :)

werd....you definitely can there are alot of opportunities available for people who are ambitious and aggressive enough to realize and prusue them. Plus BCIT is a really good school, as it prepares there students for a work environment very well, many companies recognize that fact.

a) you don't want to work in hotels - I'm a shift manager at a 4 diamond, and it licks balls.
b) schooling is not the way you're going to start running one - that will take you 20 years
c) you'll be tossed around as a middle-manager for 15 years with minor pay raises and be expected to work 10 hours a day.
d) do you really want your legacy to be "I sold hotel rooms?" - is that what you want to tell your grand-kids?
e) it doesn't matter what company you work for, you're still going to be treated like shit - including Fairmont AND Four Seasons.

Call me a dream destroyer, but trust me on this one.
