Opposition leader in Canada=Stephen Harper

In BC, the opposition party (albiet a very small representation in the legislature) is the New Democrat Party, previously headed by Joy McPhail, the current party leader is Carole James, but she's not currently an MLA in BC.

No. Gordon Campbell is our premier, which is like BC's Prime Minister. He doesn't report to Ottawa, merely to the people of British Columbia. So he's an MLA (Member of Legislative Assembly). He holds no seat in Parliament. Parliament elections are held seperately from Legislative Assembly elections.
