Im a fan of tanning booth styles. But it can easily be over done and look AWEFUL. Same with tanning lotions etc. I think there's a fine line between a nice golden glow and looking like an orange.

I think both tanned and un-tanned can look hot. As long as the person looks healthy. Too sickly pale or to orangey fake doesn't look hot.
As for me. If I get a tan while I'm out and about then cool. I would never fake 'n' bake.

mhm i unno during winter time id hit up the fake n bake but not as much as last year i kinda went out of hand and i fake and baked too much in the stand up machines and i got a nice tan alright except my skin dried out and after a while i was just peeling so yuck. never tried lotions before im scared this girl in my grade turned orange lol but summers always great i tan easily so tan on ppl...heres a pic from me last year...:D

^stand ups are no good...the uv output is a lot higher and harmful, probably why you started to dry up
and you weren't using lotion? ...USE IT! heh...you're probably the type to borrow goggles too! i'm using this organic Hempz lotion right now (the bronzing/non tingle one), it's vurrrrrry good but a lil on the expensive side but you get what you pay for, so don't skimp on lotion cause you'll most likely end up turning grey or orange

i get too impatient to try and get a decent base outside.
especially since i always go somewhere wicked hot in the summer. and if i went being pale...id fry! ill go to the tanning chamber anyday. as for tan in a can....gross. when it rains, it looks like you are melting. its gross. and orange. spray tan for me was a waste of money. if you have the right skin for it...then great if you need it for one or two days. but as for long term. it doesnt last more than a few days.

GO TO CUBA AND TAN
fake tans are gross because girls are ALWAYS over-doing it. and even if its not overdone you can totally tell when its being used because of the uneven skin tones when i got back from cuba i had a nice tan.. its starting to wear away a little bit but its still here.

tanned skin looks sooo much better. i'm naturally really pale, and i've always avoided fake & bake, but after trying it a couple times... i will never go back to being pasty again.
and yeah, my school has an "orange girl" too. haha.
