Currency System?

Yeah, I was sitting in Capp10 (yes, I failed capp) off day dreaming about this site, listening to DJ Tiberium, and ignoring the STUPID anger managment presentation. FUCK I HATE THEM SO BAD THEY MAKE ME WANNA KILL SOMEONE! But anyways, I was sitting there, and I had an idea for the site. What if, I created a form of currency? Like Karma, but users don't GIVE it out, it grows for ever number of posts you have. (ie. every 50 posts you get 1 more point) Plus, Admins may give them to users, for a good post, or whatnot. (only admins) And there are a few other ways. Now these points, or whatever we call them, can buy you bigger avatars, more custom titles, change your glow color, discounts on clothing, all sorts of little things. I donno, gimmie ur feedback, or questions on the idea?

K, this is just my opinion..

But really, what's the point? I like the whole idea of getting points and getting clothing discounts, that's cool. But the other things? Meh, there not really a big deal [to me at least] i don't care what my glow colour is. And isn't this all just more work for you? I mean really, you do a helluva lot for this site already, but hey that's up to you. Anywayz, my other point was I don't like how you would get the points. I don't think, if you do install this system, that you should get points depending on your post count. All that will most likely do is just encourage ppl to post useless crap like "haha!! that's funny" in response to a thread in Crack-Me-Up section, just so they can get more points. I like the idea of only Admins giving them for good posts and what not. [altho i don't really like the system that much]

Another thing, if you do this, it should be like.. private y'know? Like something only you could look at, not on display like the karma [which I know you can turn off] Otherwise it would be somewhat like a competition [like the karma.. in a way] If you make it private and only you can look at yours then it's not like a competition and doesn't really matter y'know? And then it's there if you want to use it..
