Quitting smoking is a very difficult thing to do. I find myself, that it's not all that hard to not smoke - it's the staying a non smoker which is the hard part. I tried Zyban - made me crazy, tried cold turkey went right back to smoking after 3 weeks. Now I am on the patch, it's been a month and I haven't smoked yet. Yes there is nicotine still running through my body but I'm not inhaling all the toxins etc (I actually feel the difference in my breathing and it's GREAT!). So I'm slowly decreasing the amount of nicotine - and I know it will be hard still but I won't smoke after I'm off the patch for good.
