IM pretty confident England will take this. Maybe a 2-0 game? I dont know enough about croatia's team to make a good prediction though.

Croatia is a pretty good team... I remember watching them play in World Cup '98 when I was in Germany. They made it pretty damn far. Not to be underestimated.

Beckham is overrated. There are a bunch of players who exceed Backham in the skills department, but i'll give beckham marks for his leadership.

Besides if portugal doesn't knock them out imagine the finals being England against France.

That would be a treat for everyone to watch

I'm talking in general most think Beckham is some gods gift to england, but maybe its just his popularity that gets me.

Why would football fans start talking about an 18 year old that no one knew anything about until this tournament? Just curious its like talking about some phenomenol player in the NHL who has never really be seen before, than takes part in a tournament and leads in scoring.

Quite honestly I don't think Beckham is that good, but thats a personal opinion and I am entitled to that much.

beckham's good, he's just not a true elite level player. not a real franchise type imo.

I don't think Beckham is an overrated athlete at all. I just think because he's kind of turned into the universal face of soccer and he's out there promoting the shit out of everything from deodorant to cellphones people are probably sick of seeing him.

Keep in mind that Rooney is an amazing player, he's only 18, give him a few years and he'll be everywhere too, I don't doubt that.
