Nice guy. If you see him be sure to say Hi.
I had the privledge of speaking with a very unfortunate, yet very nice guy the other day. He lives downtown, off burrard, and is on disability for some very obvious hinderances. He has a large hump on his back, which causes him to walk awkwardly. Skiny arms, and By his appearance, facial and otherwise, I'm sure many people, give him bad looks. Which is awful.
I was waiting for a friend at lonsdale quay, and he was wonderin around, waiting apparently to make his way to some pub to watch the soccer game. After watchin him for about 10-15min, wandering, and then sitting down, and getting up, wandering, and then sitting down etc. for that time. I decided to ask him if he would like to sit down where i was.
I ended up speaking with him for about 20-25 min. Truly nice guy, and just left with many unfortunates in his life. I bought him a drink and chatted. Granted the convo was for the most part one way.
I think if more people actually did this, many such as him would come out of their shells, and be more accepting of themselves as people.
His name is bill. And if you see him and even just smile. I think it would make his day. Which in my mind is definately worthy of Da Sweet Stuff.
